My passion and love for art began early growing up in a family environment of creative and inventive people. Always encouraged to create, I realize that few people experience these opportunities, in their youth. It is this freedom of expression that I seek to encourage in all of my students.
Inspiration comes from reading, realtionships observed, great creators and writers of the past, a curiosity about everything, and a lifetime quest to learn. I have a great admiration for those who have prevailed against all odds, and these people find their way into my art.
The past few years have been spent studying printmaking: intaglio, relief and lithography. My artwork includes figures in religious history to honor those who sacrificed and endured for their beliefs.
